Lor Mai Gai糯米鸡 Ingredients
- ½ cup Japanese Pearl Rice or Thai Glutinous Rice
- 1 Chinese Sausage (sliced diagonally)
- 1 Shiitake Mushroom
- 3 Chicken Thighs
- Sesame Oil
- Coriander Root
- ½ cup Water
Seasoning for rice
- 1 tbsp Mushroom Tsuyu Sauce
- 1 tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
Seasoning for other ingredients
- 1 tsp Hua Diao Wine
- 1 tbsp Pepper Teriyaki Sauce
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- Grated Ginger (to preference)
- Chopped Garlic (to preference)

Step 1 Season the rice with Mushroom Tsuyu Sauce and Teriyaki Sauce.
Step 2 Season the Chinese Sausage, Mushroom and Chicken with Hua Diao Wine, Pepper Teriyaki Sauce, Soy Sauce, Ginger and Garlic. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Step 3 Line the inner wall of the Tanyu Double Boiler (0.35L) with sesame oil.
Step 4 Layer the ingredients in the following sequence: Mushroom, Chinese Sausage, Chicken, Rice, Coriander Root, and the remaining seasoning. Then, add ½ cup of water.
Step 5 Steam for 20 minutes.
Step 6 Serve hot on a banana leaf and enjoy!
