Hawaiian Mac & Cheese Recipe

Ingredients
- 100g Bacon Bits
- 250ml Chicken Stock
- 400ml Water
- 300ml Thickened Cream
- 200g Macaroni
- 1 Thai Pineapple (Diced)
- 1 White Onion (Diced)
- 200g Shredded Mix Cheese
- Pinch of salt
Garnish (amount to preference)
- Bacon Bits
- Chopped Spring Onion
- Black Pepper
Method
1. Stir fry the bacon bits with sufficient oil.
2. Add the chicken stock, water and thickened cream to the inner pot of your thermal cooker upon a stove. Bring to a boil.
3. Add macaroni and cook till boiling again.
4. Once boiling, switch off the stove and transfer the pot to the thermal cooker for continued cooking with the residual heat.
5. After 30 mins, add the shredded mix cheese and mix till melted.
6. Add the diced pineapple and onions.
7. Mix thoroughly and then add salt to taste.
8. Sprinkle bacon bits, spring onion and black pepper. Your hearty Hawaiian Mac & Cheese dish is complete!
