Garlic Black Chicken Soup For 2 to 3 persons
Ingredients
- 1 black chicken
- 10 dried mushrooms (washed & soaked till soft)
- 3 slices ginger
- 120g garlic (peeled)
- 10g wolfberries
- 2 stalks of codonopsis root (党参 dang shen)
- 800ml water
Seasoning
- Chinese wine & salt to taste
Step 1 Bring water to boil in Tanyu stock pot over high heat.
Step 2 Slowly place black chicken into the boiling water.
Step 3 Add the mushrooms, ginger and garlic.
Step 4 Add the water for soaking the mushroom through a strainer to remove any sediments.
Step 5 Stir well, bring to a boil and then simmer over medium heat with lid on for one hour.
Step 6 Add salt and wine before serving
