Tasty Treat with Zojirushi

Ingredients

  • 170ml Water
  • 250g Bread Flour
  • 50g Cake Flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 3ml Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Dry Yeast

Step 1

Put the ingredients into the Baking Pan according to the order of the Ingredients List top down.

Step 2
Use the COURSE key to select COURSE 8 and press the START key.

Step 3
Remove the dough from the Baking Pan and cut it into 3 equal pieces. Shape the pieces into balls, cover with a cloth, and allow the dough to rest for about 20 minutes.

Step 4
Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough into an oval, and roll into a long, thin shape.

Step 5
Fold canvas to make a ridge and place the dough inside the “channels” created by the ridge, then cover with more canvas. Leave the dough to rise at room temperature for 50 to 60 minutes, until they approximately double in size. (Note: Allow the dough to rise inside the canvas channels so that it will attain the correct shape.)

Step 6
Place the risen dough on a parchment paper-lined baking tray and use a razor or sharp kitchen knife to make cuts across the top of the dough. Allow the dough to rest for about 10 minutes.

Step 7
Spritz the dough thoroughly with water, and bake in a preheated 200°C to 220°C oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
