Fragrant Mushroom Yam Rice
Ingredients
- 200g Chicken Meat (Sliced)
- 200g Yam (Diced)
- 50g Carrots (Sliced)
- 50g Mushrooms (Sliced)
- 30g Dried Shrimp (Chopped)
- 1 tbsp Chopped Garlic
- 1 tbsp Chopped Ginger
- 3 tsp Oil
- 300g Cooked White Rice
Seasoning
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 tsp Mushroom Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce
- 400ml Water

Step 1
Place inner pot of La Gourmet Thermal Wonder Cooker on the stove and heat up the oil.
Step 2
Add yam and stir fry. Then, add garlic, ginger and dried shrimp.
Step 3
Add in chicken meat and stir fry. Then, add in mushroom and continue to stir fry.
Step 4
Add rice and mix well with other ingredients.
Step 5
Add seasoning according to preference. Fry well till fragrant.
Step 6
Add water and cook until steam appears.
Step 7
Lower flame and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 8
When done, transfer into the outer pot and leave it to self-cook for another 20 minutes.
Step 9
Your fragrant mushroom yam rice is ready to be served! Garnish with spring onions as desired.
