Tasty Carrot Oatcakes with Tefal Ingenio

Carrot Oatcakes

Ingredients

• 180g Rolled Oats
• 1 pinch Cinnamon powder
• 1 pinch Cumin powder
• 1 pinch Salt
• 1 dash Pepper
• 150ml Warm milk
• 2 beaten Eggs
• 1 chopped Yellow Onion
• 2 grated medium-size Carrot
• 50g Guyere or any other cheese (grated)

Step 1
Place the oats into a mixing bowl

Step 2
Add cinnamon, cumin, salt and pepper.

Step 3
Then add the milk and give a quick stir.

Step 4
Add the beaten eggs and mix well.

Step 5
Add the chopped onion, grated carrot and cheese. Mix well.

Step 6
Heat pan, wait for the Thermo-spot to turn red (about 40 seconds) and add oil to coat the base.

Step 7
Scoop the oat mixture and shape into a patty.

Step 8
Add the patty piece by piece to the heated pan and fry till both sides turn golden brown.

Step 9
Serve over a bed of greens for a healthy breakfast or snack!
